Italy rewards the slow week. Our houses sit where the country still keeps its own rhythm — a stone farmhouse in Tuscany with cypress rows older than the road, a shuttered villa on Como where the lake turns silver before breakfast, a lemon terrace above the Amalfi shore. We keep a short list on purpose: places we have stayed in, with a housekeeper who knows the fishmonger and a cook who makes the pasta by hand. Beyond the three, 2026 belongs to Italy's quieter corners — Umbria's stone hill towns, Piedmont's nonna-run bars and hazelnut hills, the masserie of Puglia, the Ionian shore below Syracuse — and we will arrange those weeks by request.
