1. Who we are
Solène Collection arranges short-term stays in privately owned homes. We act as agent for the owner of each house. The rental contract for every stay is between the guest and the owner, unless stated otherwise in writing.
2. Enquiries and bookings
An enquiry is not a booking. A stay is confirmed only when we have issued a written confirmation and the first payment has been received. Rates, minimum stays and inclusions are confirmed per house at the time of booking.
3. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, a deposit is payable on confirmation and the balance before arrival. A refundable security deposit may be required by the owner. All amounts are payable in the currency stated on the confirmation.
4. Cancellation and changes
Cancellation terms are set out on your booking confirmation and vary by house and season. Changes to dates or guest numbers are subject to availability and to the owner's agreement. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every stay.
5. Guests and use of the house
The number of guests may not exceed the number confirmed. Houses are for private residential use; events, parties and commercial filming require prior written consent. Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay.
6. Arrival, departure and services
Arrival and departure times are stated on your confirmation. Additional services — chefs, transfers, therapists, skippers, guides — are arranged on request and are billed separately, either in advance or locally.
7. Liability
Neither Solène Collection nor the owner accepts liability for loss, injury or damage other than that caused by their negligence, or for events outside reasonable control such as extreme weather, strikes, or the interruption of utilities.
8. Owners
Properties submitted through the List Your Property page are reviewed before any agreement. Owners warrant that they are entitled to let the property and that it complies with local registration, safety and tax requirements.
9. Data and privacy
We collect only what is needed to arrange your stay and reply to you, and we share it with the owner and service providers involved in that stay. We never sell personal data. To access or delete your data, write to reservations@solene-collection.com.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the guest's country of residence. We will always seek an amicable resolution first.
